ABOUT DR. SHERMAN LUO

Dr. Sherman Luo holds a Ph.D. in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Shan Dong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.  He received his Medical Doctorate (M.D.) in 1987.

He later came to the US and received his California Acupuncture License, served as an Expert Licensing Examiner for the California Acupuncture Board, and opened his private practice in Sacramento County in 1997.

Just a few of Dr. Luo’s Achievements:

•Attending physician and Clinical Instructor at the Shan Dong University Hospital
•Guest Lecturer on many occasions at the International Conference of Traditional Chinese Medicine 
•Presenter for the California Certified Acupuncturists Association Symposiums
•Presenter at continuing education seminars for advanced acupuncture training programs
•Presenter at public education programs 
•Expert Licensing Examiner for the California Acupuncture Board
•Board Member of the California Certified Acupuncturists Association
•Mentor to Martial Arts Experts in the application of TCM concepts in Martial Arts
